I saw this pattern and I had to make it. How cute is that? It can fit a wallet, keys and cellphone quite nicely. I think it's a great conversation piece. I felted it but not too much because the yarn is doubled up. I think if I washed it again it would lose it's shape. It's a very sturdy bag but fun at the same time. I think bags should be fun...

I crocheted some cute decorations for Halloween. As I was trying to make these my kids were begging me to make one for them also, so it took a little longer than I expected... of course the kids come first! These are for sale at my etsy shop.
Update: I sold the candy corn and pumpkins... how exciting!!

How cute is this bag? I got the pattern from Interweave Crochet Magazine. I'm selling this in my etsy shop. I used one of my many vintage buttons which happened to match perfectly. I had a light blue ribbon but it didn't quite match, so I figure someone can just put their own ribbon if they don't like this one.
I'm making another one of these bags in a darker blue. I'm so glad that I finished this today. Felting is always sort of nerve wracking... you never quite know how something is going to come out. You do all this work and then take a chance felting it. It's scary and exciting at the same time. I'm really glad that this project came out as adorable as it did.

I had so much fun making this scarf. Yes, it's knit... I admit it... I'm a closet knitter. But this pattern is so relaxing! No counting, no thinking, no snags. I think working with this yarn made it fun too. I love ribbon yarns. I'm selling this on etsy and I think it's great. It's very long and stretchy.
I'm almost done with a bag that I've been working on also. I believe I will try and finish that tomorrow.

I have set up shop at etsy.com. The shop is called le beau crochet (the beautiful hook). It's up and running for about a month. I have recently made some flower pins that are very reasonable in price.
These pins are great... you can put them almost anywhere. I used some vintage buttons that I had sitting around so I thought it might give these flowers a little edge. I was actually commissioned once to make felted flowers for a woman. She made a bag but didn't have a clue how to make the flowers.
These pins also have bar pins sewn on the backs of them so the buyer doesn't have to fuss with safety pins or sewing. They were relatively quick to make so I didn't mind putting a lower price on them.
